During my mid-20’s, from December 2021 to December 2023, I was the daily hospice caretaker for my bed-bound grandfather ❤️
What a wild experience that was!
So many emotional ups and downs.
Putting in all this work, just knowing what the inevitable outcome is – yet not knowing when that moment was going to come.
As a prideful young man, I just wanted to do as good of a job as I could.
I viewed it as kind of like one last thank you 🥹
But geez was it an absolutely struggle to accept that regardless of how hard I tried, the outcome would still be the same.
And once that day finally came…
Everything changed.
