Meaning of the word Kootenay- To me, this is my home. I live in the Kootenays, in British Columbia, Canada.
The Kootenay region in Canada, including the Ktunaxa/Kootenai First Nations, has a rich cultural and historical significance.
To me, the word Kootenay represents resilience, harmony with nature, interconnectedness, or the passage of time.
This is the transformation I hope to take you on, one that instils all of those elements.
