The purpose of this group is to create a space educating everyone on money and budgeting. I know this might seem silly to people, because everyone thinks they know how to budget but that is why we are free, to make sure you thrive financially and don't end up in hot water. This group is inspired by my professional career within the Pennsylvania State Senate working on retirement solutions as there are many people without a retirement plan or strategy; then subsequently from my time after law school, working in private practice with bankruptcy clients, I have seen how important simple budgeting is and recognize the value of a helping hand encouraging and supporting each person as they go through their financial journey.
