What is this community?

When I started in coffee, I knew almost nothing. I built a small social media presence by ripping Dave Portnoy's "Pizza Reviews" and started reviewing coffees from my area. Long story short, this eventually led to securing a small business loan and acquiring Maiden Coffee Roasters.

Now, years into the industry, I’ve seen firsthand the lack of accessible education, the high barriers to entry, and the gatekeeping that holds people back. The goal with this community is to change that—offering insights, resources, and discussions to help anyone looking to start, grow, or refine their coffee career.

While I can't guarantee success, I share the knowledge that got me here.
