I want to try this thing out. I've been thinking about how I can add to the Traditional Bachata scene in New York but I want to hear from everyone in the community first.

What I'm looking to build are my own classes based around some of the things you all think is missing.

Some of the things I'm already thinking:
[ul][li]Tres Golpes - class built around the fundamentals of merengue \(25%\), bachata \(50%\), and dembow \(25%\) to add an authentic Dominican Flavor to your bachata.[li]Partnerwork class - teaching leads how to let follows set the tone and style of the dance. How to shine the spotlight on them instead of trying to takeover and show off. How to play from your basic.[li]A Weekly Traditional Bachata social/practica during the week, especially after so many of us have classes and are already in the city.
